Job Requirements
- Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards
- Sets up station according to cafe guidelines
- Prepares food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follows portion control and presentation specifications
- Restocks items as needed
- Cleans and maintains station observing safety and sanitation procedures
- Properly uses and maintains station equipment
- Prepares dishes for customers with allergies or intolerance
- Ensures food quality and safety by performing standard sanitary measures
- Works at an efficient and consistent pace
- Understands methods and procedures for serving food
- Communicates effectively
- Follows all cash handling procedures
- Assists financial accountability by recording orders and counting drawer
- Thanks customers and invites them to return
- Acts as role model and helps train new staff

Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as sandwich artist, cashier or customer service representative preferred but not required
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation principles
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends
Job Duties
- Assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads and protein bowls following recipes and ABP standards
- Prepare all food items in a timely, efficient, sanitary and consistent manner
- Maintain and restock station throughout shifts
- Follow food safety and sanitation requirements
- Process cash, debit and credit card transactions with accuracy
- Balance cash drawer and make change
- Provide excellent customer service
- Communicate effectively with team members
- Assist in on-the-job training of new baristas and cashiers
