Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year experience in upscale restaurant, hotel, resort, or private club preferred
  • certification in liquor, wine, and food service including Alcohol Awareness preferred
  • ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a professional appearance
  • strong multitasking and communication skills
  • must meet minimum age requirements and comply with responsible alcohol service standards
  • physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand, walk, and perform other movements for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Address guests by name and respond to their requests ensuring complete service
  • assist servers with presenting menus and making food and beverage suggestions
  • prepare and check orders for accuracy and present them with a positive attitude
  • monitor and maintain supplies and keep kitchen and café areas clean and organized
  • assist servers in maintaining tidy service areas and communicate kitchen times to servers and management
  • stay knowledgeable about the menu, drinks, specials, and unavailable items
  • complete daily and weekly checklists and perform additional assigned duties
