Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year experience in upscale restaurant hotel resort or private club preferred
  • Certification in liquor wine and food service including alcohol awareness preferred
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and maintain a professional appearance
  • Strong multitasking and communication skills
  • Must meet minimum age requirements and comply with responsible alcohol service standards
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand walk and perform other movements for extended periods

Job Duties

  • Always address guests by name observe and respond to requests and ensure service is complete
  • Assist servers with presenting menus answering questions and making suggestions about food and beverage service
  • Prepare baskets with condiments and sides confirm orders are accurate and presentable and serve to guests with a smile
  • Monitor supplies maintain stock and keep kitchen café areas clean and orderly Assist servers in keeping service areas tidy collect and maintain baskets and relay kitchen times to servers management
  • Stay informed about the menu drinks specials and unavailable items
  • Complete daily weekly checklists and perform other duties as assigned
