Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- at least 5 years of progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field
- food handlers certification required and must comply with State requirements
- able to work effectively under pressure maintaining composure
- a strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests and effectively conveys ideas and solutions

Job Duties
- Prepare and supervise the preparation of food items ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
- lead and assist kitchen staff ensuring efficient and high-quality food preparation and service
- anticipate and address issues proactively to maintain smooth kitchen operations
- convey information clearly and resolve concerns from co-workers and guests effectively
- maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- show initiative by anticipating needs and taking proactive steps to address them
- manage time efficiently to ensure timely food preparation and service
