Job Requirements
- high school diploma preferred but not required
- knowledge in sandblasting
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently
- good understanding of safety procedures related to sandblasting operations
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- must wear safety glasses and steel toe boots

Job Duties
- operate sandblasting equipment to clean polish and prepare stainless steel surfaces used in food processing equipment
- inspect and assess materials to determine the most appropriate sandblasting technique
- follow specific protocols for food-grade surface finishes ensuring compliance with industry cleanliness and hygiene standards
- ensure all sandblasting work meets quality specifications for texture finish and uniformity of the stainless steel surfaces
- wear proper protective equipment and follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries and exposure to harmful materials
- record and report sandblasting activities materials used and time spent on each project
- collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of sandblasting tasks
