Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • strong background in customer service
  • ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • professional appearance
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and on-call
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • based in Merced or surrounding areas
  • must pass background check and FAA-required training

Job Duties

  • Greet passengers at the airport terminal with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • perform passenger check-in including verifying reservations and issuing boarding passes
  • tag and weigh baggage ensuring compliance with aircraft limitations
  • answer phones and respond to customer inquiries about flight schedules and fares
  • communicate with pilots and ground crew to ensure on-time departures
  • make boarding announcements and escort passengers to the aircraft
  • ensure safety and comfort of passengers during flights
  • provide personalized safety briefings before takeoff
  • secure cabin including baggage and carry-on items
  • monitor passengers for comfort and safety compliance
  • offer complimentary in-flight snacks and beverages
  • assist passengers with deplaning
