Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work around moving parts/equipment
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, stand for entire shift up to 8 hours or more
  • Must have ability to work in cold environment at 38-40 degrees for up to 8 hours with insulated clothing
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs including china, product and silverware
  • Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
  • Other duties assigned by management as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to use knives, cutting boards, meat slicers and related kitchen equipment
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English
  • Must apply effective food hygiene practices
  • Must have good organizational skills and adaptability to changes
  • Must have the ability to apply safety and sanitation standards
  • Must be flexible to work early shifts, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare, assemble and pack raw and/or cooked food items according to specifications
  • Wash, clean and cut raw food products as per company and customer procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas
  • Ensure proper temperature control of all food products
  • Operate and handle industrial kitchen equipment such as knives, meat slicers, and mobile shelving
  • Comply with USDA, FDA, and HACCP food safety standards
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by management
