Job Requirements

  • Must be able to work around moving parts and equipment
  • Must be able to walk, stoop, bend, and stand for entire work shift up to 8 hours or more
  • Must have the ability to work in a cold environment with constant 38-40 degrees temperature up to 8 hours or more wearing insulated clothing
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs including china, product, and silverware
  • Must be able to use fingers and hands to handle equipment
  • Must have ability to use knives, cutting board, mobile shelving, carts, meat slicer, and related industrial kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to speak, read and understand English
  • Must possess basic math skills
  • Must apply effective food hygiene practices
  • Must have good organizational skills and be adaptable to frequent changes
  • Must have the ability to apply safety and sanitation standards
  • Must be flexible to work early shift, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding
  • Other duties assigned by management as needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read, speak, and understand English
  • Experience working in a food production or kitchen environment is an asset
  • Good organizational skills
  • Adaptability to frequent changes
  • Knowledge of food hygiene practices
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting

Job Duties

  • Prepare raw and cooked food items according to specifications
  • Assemble and pack food items adhering to USDA/FDA/HACCP standards
  • Wash, clean, and cut raw food products following company procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen and work areas
  • Ensure proper temperature control of all food products
  • Use knives, cutting boards, meat slicers, and related industrial kitchen equipment safely
  • Follow safety and sanitation standards consistently
