Job Requirements
- Must have a 26-foot box truck with lift gate
- Must have a reliable helper for two-person team deliveries
- Contractors must have an adequately insured vehicle
- Must obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Compliance with vehicle registration and insurance laws
- DOT/MC numbers if vehicle GVWR exceeds 10,000 lbs
- Background and drug screening
- MVR checks for all driving contractors
- Must be tech savvy with a mobile phone
- Must provide exceptional customer service
Job Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license
- Experience operating a 26-foot box truck
- Ability to work as part of a two-person team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to use smartphones and delivery apps proficiently
- Familiarity with safety and compliance regulations
- Background and drug screening clearance
Job Duties
- Pick up orders at Home Depot and deliver to job sites or customer homes
- Pay attention to order delivery details
- Ensure safe loading and unloading of goods
- Provide excellent customer service during each delivery
- Communicate effectively with customers and dispatch
- Comply with all vehicle and safety regulations
- Assist in assembly or repair of delivered goods if required
