Job Requirements

  • Previous line cook experience required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of grilling, sautéing, and general culinary techniques
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Previous line cook experience required, lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
  • Strong knowledge of grilling, sautéing, and general culinary techniques
  • Excellent communication, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Saltgrass recipes and presentation standards
  • Maintain full knowledge of all stations (grill, sauté, fry, prep, expo) and rotate as needed
  • Ensure food quality, portion accuracy, and ticket times meet company expectations
  • Monitor product levels and communicate needs to management to prevent shortages
  • Assist in training new cooks on recipes, safety, sanitation, and line procedures
  • Lead the line during busy shifts, coordinating timing and communication between stations
  • Support the Kitchen Manager in enforcing kitchen policies and maintaining a positive work environment
