- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Strong knowledge of grilling, sautéing, and general culinary techniques
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Physical ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Strong knowledge of grilling, sautéing, and general culinary techniques
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and time-management skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Job Duties
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to Saltgrass recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain full knowledge of all stations (grill, sauté, fry, prep, expo) and rotate as needed
- Ensure food quality, portion accuracy, and ticket times meet company expectations
- Monitor product levels and communicate needs to management to prevent shortages
- Assist in training new cooks on recipes, safety, sanitation, and line procedures
- Lead the line during busy shifts, coordinating timing and communication between stations
- Support the Kitchen Manager in enforcing kitchen policies and maintaining a positive work environment
