Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • preferred experience in hospitality sales or event management
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • strong organization and time management abilities
  • ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
  • proficiency with sales tracking systems such as Delphi
  • ability to represent the hotel professionally at industry events
  • flexibility to work varied hours including weekends and evenings as needed
  • enthusiastic and team-oriented mindset
  • strong attention to detail and follow through

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients
  • deliver a successful experience for the planner and attendees with the goal of garnering both repeat and referral business
  • respond in a quick, timely, and professional manner to all internal partners and external customers
  • deliver clear and concise communique representative of Concord Hospitality
  • effectively and efficiently monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details including room blocks, meeting space, contract clauses, group resumes, event orders, billing details
  • gain knowledge of the hotel’s food and beverage products, pricing, and presentation
  • demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills
  • foster business with proactive and reactive sales efforts
  • provide excellent customer service with speed and efficiency in returning calls and bookings
  • provide excellent follow through on details to account and hotel departments
  • represent the hotel at all industry events with professionalism and character
  • meet and exceed monthly revenue and sales call goals
  • document all sales activities in Delphi or similar sales system for tracking and history
  • assist as needed in the operation of a successful hotel as a team player
