Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in restaurant sales, food sales, professional catering sales, or working as a chef preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects
  • Self-starter with eagerness to learn
  • College degree desired but not required
  • Ability to foster positive and innovative atmosphere
  • Comfortable using data to monitor progress
  • High energy and motivated to achieve results

Job Duties

  • Generate sales through development of new business opportunities
  • Expand relationships with existing accounts
  • Compile lists of prospective customers from various sources
  • Travel throughout assigned territory to visit customers
  • Present products using samples or catalogs highlighting features and benefits
  • Quote prices and credit terms to prepare contracts
  • Provide estimated delivery dates and collect payments
  • Maintain detailed business transaction records
  • Collaborate with inside sales representatives
  • Track stock levels to align product availability with demand
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers
