Job Requirements

  • Submit to pre-employment testing (drug screen, background check)
  • Sign Sysco Protective Covenants Agreement
  • Reside or willing to relocate to the geographical vicinity of the territory
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Current automobile insurance with specified liability limits
  • Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related field OR HSD/GED with 3 years of relevant sales or restaurant management experience
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • Experience in restaurant management, foodservice outside sales, or as a chef preferred
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Current automobile insurance meeting company liability requirements
  • Basic PC skills and proficiency with MS Office
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English

Job Duties

  • Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts
  • Seek and qualify prospects following company goals
  • Research customer business needs and develop customized product and service mix
  • Evaluate market trends and recommend products accordingly
  • Maintain knowledge of market conditions, competitors, and product innovations
  • Provide product information and training to customers
  • Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts and company events
  • Communicate and collect accounts receivable
  • Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order issues
  • Participate in company promotions and sales meetings
  • Engage in ongoing training and assist with new employee training
  • Analyze sales reports and perform administrative duties
  • Other duties as assigned
