Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College coursework preferred
  • Funeral directors license where required by state law
  • Life insurance license where required by state law
  • Current state or province issued driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Sales experience preferred
  • Computer and technology skills
  • Goal oriented self-starter
  • Public speaking ability
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Bilingual is a plus

Job Duties

  • Responsible for attaining or exceeding monthly sales revenue quota
  • Presents Dignity Memorial Personal Planning Guide electronic presentations to consumers
  • Guides and tours prospective families through cemetery grounds or crematory mausoleums
  • Thoroughly and accurately completes contracts and follows up on documents and family questions
  • Self-initiates leads and builds relationships within the community
  • Obtains referrals from families served through after care visits
  • Establishes and maintains professional relationships with families
  • Collaborates with management and staff to improve services and processes
