Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record in accordance with company policy
- Ability to complete background screening and motor vehicle record review
- Physical capability to perform intermittent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching
- Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally and carry 25 pounds frequently
- Willingness to work full time
- Compliance with company policies and safety directives
- Ability to wear proper uniform
- Availability to remain at station on weekends
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety
- Customer service skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting as required
- Reliability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Handle and maintain vehicles and lot according to company standards including maintaining a clean lot, maintaining clean vehicles, check in new vehicles, drive vehicles to shop and back
- Promptly greet dealership customers and refer customers to proper departments
- Report directly to the sales managers
- Wipe down cars on showroom floor every morning
- Merchandise front line every morning
- Ensure all cars have a full tank of gas
- Properly wash and prepare cars for delivery
- Complete delivery form and sign off on work
- Wear proper uniform
- Remain at station on weekends with no exceptions
- Assure duties are covered before lunch
- Check delivery board every morning to make sure vehicles are ready for delivery
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Maintain regular attendance
- Work cooperatively and professionally with all personnel
- Treat public and customers courteously and non-discriminatorily
- Conform to company policy regarding non-discrimination and harassment
