Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in sales, marketing or related field
- Minimum of 3 - 5 years previous experience in hotel sales and marketing or related field
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain composure
- Quick decision-making skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently

Job Duties
- Responsible for marketing account to professional meeting planners for meetings, conferences, training events, and seminars
- Conducts telephone solicitation calls to generate new business and contacts
- Determines and secures accurate meeting space for groups
- Greets and services all clients/groups to ensure satisfaction
- Follows up with all clients through phone calls, letters, and site tours to secure contracts and ensure customer happiness
- Inputs data to generate contracts, update client files, and enter information into sales software
- Participates in special projects as needed
