Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience
  • proficiency in general computer knowledge, Hotelligence, RFP Express, Lanyon, Salesforce.com, and Agency360
  • training in selling, negotiating, business writing, and presentation skills preferred
  • refined verbal and written communication skills
  • community involvement or professional association highly regarded

Job Duties

  • Managing current accounts
  • ensuring proper solicitation of all transient markets
  • client entertainment and travel to major cities within market
  • preparing and presenting effective proposals and presentations
  • maintaining well-organized documentation and reports
  • utilizing Hyatt technology systems
  • coordinating customer service requirements with hotel staff
  • participating in and leading event and sales meetings
