Job Requirements

  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing plans
  • Minimum of 2 years hotel sales experience
  • Bachelors degree preferred or relative experience
  • Previous brand experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Market knowledge of the Wilmington area a plus
  • Passion for hotel sales

Job Duties

  • Maintain a solid knowledge of occupancy trends and hotel availability to aid General Manager with yield management goals
  • Prospect new business using wedding venues, city wide events, universities, sports, churches, etc.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activity and booking reports required by the corporate office
  • Use and maintain approved database to keep in touch with past clients
  • Develop and maintain sales and marketing plans
  • Enhance public and community relations
  • Maintain and support the implementation of all CMC policies and procedures
  • Maintain required brand training certifications
