Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of three years of sales experience
- previous hospitality experience preferred
- excellent verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office
- ability to develop and maintain client relationships
- ability to execute action plans effectively
- must be sales-driven and goal-oriented
- willingness to travel locally
- ability to work primarily remotely with occasional on-site presence
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of sales experience preferably in the hospitality industry
- strong communication and presentation skills
- ability to work collaboratively with various departments
- proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- experience with Delphi.fdc software preferred
- enthusiastic and passionate with the ability to motivate others
- sales-driven and goal-oriented
- association market experience preferred
Job Duties
- Develop business and maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel through presentations, prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, and business travel
- specialize in problem-solving and think outside the box
- participate in networking organizations representing Tenaya Lodge and Delaware North
- collaborate with revenue management, hotel operations, and food and beverage partners to support hotel performance
- handle account details ensuring all solicitation and closing activities are complete and documented
- coordinate participation of various departments in servicing accounts
- prepare and deliver persuasive verbal sales presentations
- travel locally to conduct outside calls, promote the lodge, and review competition
- entertain and meet with clients as appropriate based on potential business
