Job Requirements
- Must be sales-driven and goal-oriented
- Minimum of three years of past sales experience preferred
- Previous hospitality experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Delphi.fdc preferred
- Ability to develop and execute action plans
- Willingness to travel locally
- Ability to work remotely with occasional on-site presence
- Residency within a short driving distance to Tenaya Lodge, such as Fresno, Sacramento, or the Bay Area
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of sales experience preferred
- Previous hospitality experience including hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, or event spaces preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills at all management levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Delphi.fdc preferred
- Ability to execute appropriate action plans
- Sales-driven and goal-oriented
- Excellent teamwork and ability to foster collaborative relationships
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems
- Association market experience preferred
Job Duties
- Develop business and maximize revenue through sales presentations, prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, and business travel
- Engage in networking and represent Tenaya Lodge and Delaware North professionally
- Collaborate with Revenue Management, Hotel Operations, and Food and Beverage partners to support hotel performance
- Manage account details ensuring solicitation and closing are complete and documented
- Coordinate participation of various departments in servicing accounts
- Deliver persuasive verbal sales presentations to prospective clients
- Travel locally for outside calls, promotions, and competitive reviews
- Prepare information for and entertain clients as appropriate for potential business
