Job Requirements
- Sales experience in hospitality sector preferred
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to develop and execute sales plans
- Willingness to travel locally as needed
- Must be sales driven and goal oriented
- Flexible to work remotely with occasional on-site presence near Tenaya Lodge
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Experience with Delphi.fdc software preferred
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of sales experience preferably in hospitality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong presentation skills at all management levels
- Ability to think creatively and solve problems proactively
- Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Delphi.fdc is preferred
- Sales-driven and goal-oriented mindset
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build excellent working relationships
- Passionate and enthusiastic with the ability to motivate others
Job Duties
- Develop business and maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel orally and in writing to clients
- Participate in sales presentations, prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, client entertainment, and business travel
- Network within organizations as a representative of Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite and Delaware North
- Collaborate with revenue management, hotel operations, and food and beverage partners to support hotel performance
- Handle account details ensuring solicitation and closing are complete and documented
- Coordinate department participation in servicing accounts
- Travel locally to conduct sales calls, promote the lodge, and assess competition
- Prepare information for, meet with, and entertain clients based on potential business opportunities
