Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven sales experience preferably in hospitality
- Ability to spend 80 percent of time in active sales solicitation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic computational ability
- Ability to travel as required
- Regular attendance as scheduled
- Physical ability to sit, stand, walk and lift 10 pounds
- Proficient in operating office equipment

Job Duties
- Conduct outside sales calls and inside appointments
- Assist Director of Sales in annual marketing plan preparation
- Send and follow up on proposals promptly
- Document client requirements for room blocks and meeting spaces
- Obtain and manage all necessary group information including billing and VIP arrangements
- Maintain assigned sales quota
- Prepare weekly sales call reports and itineraries
- Collaborate cooperatively with staff
- Promote guest service culture
- Perform additional tasks as directed by management
