Job Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years current sales experience preferably in hospitality or entertainment venue event sales
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Working knowledge of local and regional markets, venue operations, and special events industries
- 2-3 years supervisory experience
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Strong interpersonal skills capable of building positive relationships at all organizational levels
- Ability to respond quickly to changing trends and circumstances and embrace new perspectives
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to supervise staff effectively
- Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to travel as needed
- Self-starter capable of working with limited supervision
- Crisis management skills
- Working knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Internet savvy
- Knowledge of digital media and social network platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Trip Advisor

Job Duties
- Support revenue generation through sale and coordination of premium seating and private event bookings
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with premium seating clients to ensure renewals and repeat business
- Assist with sales, servicing, and fulfillment of premium seating products for events
- Seek out, solicit, and coordinate new private event business including meetings, banquets, receptions, corporate events, and social functions
- Support sales goals set by management for premium seating and private event revenue
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions
- Coordinate client tours, meetings, and event walkthroughs ensuring high-quality customer service
- Create, present, and negotiate proposals for premium seating and private events
- Manage use license agreements including obtaining signatures, insurance certificates, and deposits
- Act as primary contact for assigned clients ensuring clear communication and timely follow-up
- Represent venues at community, networking, and industry events as needed
- Work with Executive Management to ensure venue success
- Conduct regular marketing sales meetings to discuss campaigns, leads, and projects
