Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in catering or hotel event management
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and event management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Valid driver’s license

Job Duties
- Identify and pursue catering sales opportunities through marketing, networking, and relationship building
- Meet with clients to understand their catering needs, preferences, and budgets
- Prepare and present catering proposals, menus, and pricing, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of catering events including menu selection, venue setup, decor, and entertainment
- Coordinate event execution with culinary, operations, and logistics departments
- Create event timelines, production schedules, and floor plans to guide staff and vendors
- Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and schedule catering staff to meet event demands
- Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff
- Cultivate and maintain positive client relationships, address questions and concerns
- Manage catering budgets, forecasts, and financial goals to maximize profitability
- Monitor sales performance, track expenses, and analyze financial reports
- Implement pricing strategies and upselling techniques
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to maintain quality standards
- Address any food safety or service issues promptly and effectively
