Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 4 years sales experience in hospitality
  • familiarity with SMERFE and government market segments
  • proven track record of closing deals
  • strong communication and negotiation skills
  • ability to work fully onsite in Los Angeles, CA
  • willingness to collaborate cross-functionally
  • ability to travel as required

Job Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales experience in the hospitality space with a focus on SMERFE and government segments
  • broad and comprehensive knowledge of group and business travel segments and key contacts in Downtown Los Angeles
  • proven ability to negotiate and close deals with various account sizes and industries
  • data-driven and influential leader with effective communication skills across cross-functional stakeholders
  • strong emotional intelligence with the ability to generate empathy with guests and operational teams
  • passion for real estate, tech, and hospitality industry
  • experience in Los Angeles hotel sales and understanding of hotel revenue management is a plus

Job Duties

  • Develop account and industry focused action plans
  • implement a sales management process to identify and prioritize key customers and prospects
  • develop and sustain long-term relationships with customers
  • have a keen insight into regional conferences, meetings, and events to secure room share for Kasa properties
  • partner with revenue management team to ensure group rates are competitive
  • produce detailed group resumes and liaise with property managers to ensure group needs are met onsite
  • participate in company-wide meetings to contribute ideas and strategic insights
