Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills
  • One year in sales or customer service experience
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate to managers and employees of the organization as well as vendors and customers
  • U.S. work authorization required

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, sales, or marketing from a technical college or university
  • Two or more years of sales or other industry experience, preferably in hospitality
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively communicate to managers and employees of the organization as well as vendors and customers

Job Duties

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned market segments through cold outreach, networking, inbound inquiries, and referrals
  • Tailor sales strategies and communication styles to effectively engage clients or members in different segments while maintaining a consistent brand voice and customer experience
  • Develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing clients or members by providing timely follow-up, personalized service, and consistent support throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Attend relevant trade shows, expos, networking events, or community activities that align with your designated segment and represent the organization with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue goals specific to your segment, regularly reviewing key metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline development to identify areas for growth and improvement
  • Collaborate with operations and events teams to ensure all client needs and expectations are accurately communicated and met during the execution phase, contributing to a seamless handoff
  • Compile and analyze reports on your segment's performance, client feedback, lost opportunities, and conversion trends to inform strategy and improve processes
