Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent skills
  • one year in sales or customer service experience
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • ability to effectively communicate to managers and employees, vendors, and customers
  • U.S. work authorization (required)

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, sales or marketing from a technical college or university
  • two or more years of sales or industry experience preferably in hospitality
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • experience with CRM systems and sales metrics analysis
  • strong networking and relationship-building abilities
  • proactive and self-motivated with a competitive spirit

Job Duties

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in assigned market segments through cold outreach, networking, inbound inquiries, and referrals
  • tailor sales strategies and communication styles to engage clients or members while maintaining brand consistency
  • develop and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing clients by providing timely follow-up and personalized service
  • attend relevant trade shows, expos, networking events, or community activities to represent the organization
  • meet or exceed sales and revenue goals, regularly reviewing key metrics and pipeline for improvement
  • collaborate with operations and events teams to ensure client needs are met during execution
  • compile and analyze reports on segment performance, client feedback, lost opportunities, and conversion trends
  • work with marketing teams to craft and deliver segment-specific campaigns and promotions
  • maintain up-to-date client records in CRM systems and use data insights to drive retention and cross-selling
  • demonstrate agility by stepping into other sales segments or supporting peers as needed
