Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hotel sales experience
  • Proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Training in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field helpful

  • Must have 3-5 years of hotel sales experience
  • Must be proficient in general computer knowledge
  • Must have selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field helpful
  • Experience in a hotel or a related field strongly preferred

Job Duties

  • Sell guest rooms, meeting space and other Hyatt services to customer groups, managing accounts, and conduct site inspections, solicit and generate business
  • Prepare and present effective proposals
  • Maintain well organized documentation and reports
  • Utilize Hyatt systems and coordinates customer service requirements as appropriate
  • Participate in and may lead meetings
  • Work as a team member with the sales and catering staff and in close contact with assigned administrative and support staff
  • Solicit, through direct sales and marketing contacts, the most complex accounts which exhibit potential for business
  • Assist Director of Sales and Marketing with projects and take on leadership functions
