Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
- 1-2 years prior sales experience
- Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance
- Reliable transportation for regional travel
- Strong leadership skills
- Good communication skills

- Experience with PMS systems
- Computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred
- Hospitality Management degree preferred or relevant experience
- 1-2 years prior sales experience
- Hospitality industry experience preferred

Job Duties
- Solicit, negotiate, and generate contracted revenues from prospects meeting hotel business plan criteria
- Employ revenue management techniques for corporate rate proposals
- Prepare and present Requests for Proposals to provide value to both clients and the hotel
- Prospect for new contract business using various methods including phone calls, outside sales calls, community functions, internet prospecting, and more
- Develop, implement, and modify sales action plans
- Manage an accurate and up-to-date contact management system
- Negotiate and close contracts meeting hotel business plan objectives
- Attend daily business reviews to communicate client requirements internally
- Coordinate and participate in target market trade shows and sales blitzes
- Conduct competitive analysis and maintain competitor files
- Maintain good rapport with local civic groups and companies
- Report to work on time, in professional appearance, and comply with company policies
- Embrace OHM culture and perform other related duties
