Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- excellent communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a team environment
- strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development
Job Qualifications
- a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- must be proficient in general computer knowledge
- prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training Program or equivalent training
- prefer selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills training
Job Duties
- sell guest rooms, meeting space, and Hyatt services to customer groups
- manage accounts and conduct site inspections
- solicit and generate business
- prepare and present effective proposals
- maintain well organized documentation and reports
- utilize Hyatt systems to coordinate customer service requirements
- participate and potentially lead event, sales, and staff meetings
