Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in hotel sales or a similar role
- proficiency with computer systems and software
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- willingness to participate in team meetings and collaborate effectively
- excellent organizational and time management skills
Job Qualifications
- a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment
- refined verbal and written communication skills
- a minimum of 1-3 years of hotel sales or comparable experience preferred
- proficiency in general computer knowledge
- training or experience in selling, negotiating, business writing and presentation skills
Job Duties
- selling guest rooms to customer groups
- selling meeting space and other Hyatt services
- managing accounts and maintaining client relationships
- conducting site inspections for potential clients
- preparing and presenting sales proposals
- maintaining organized sales documentation and reports
- participating in and leading event and staff meetings
