Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2-5 years in sales management
- 1-2 years of experience in freight forwarding operations
- strong understanding of customs brokerage processes
- proven sales track record
- proficiency with ITS/Nextgen and CRM systems
- excellent communication skills
- ability to travel as needed
- ability to work in remote, hybrid, or office environments

- proven ability to exceed sales targets and develop long-term business relationships
- proficiency in ITS/Nextgen, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, O365, SharePoint

Job Duties
- Develop new business by identifying, pursuing, and securing new opportunities to expand the client base
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to drive retention and growth
- Craft and deliver compelling sales pitches that highlight the unique value of Emons’ services
- Work closely with clients, agents, vendors, and carriers to secure competitive pricing through rate negotiation
- Collaborate with the President, National Operations Manager, and Regional Import/Export Managers to align strategies and achieve company goals
- Track and implement accounts while using CRM tools and MS Teams for effective collaboration
- Stay updated on freight forwarding trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide top-notch service
- Be available for travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events
