Job Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for typing, writing, and handling office equipment
- Occasionally lift items up to 20lbs
- Ability to travel for sales calls, client meetings, and industry events
- Comfortable working in both office and on-site hotel environments
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 plus years of experience in sales support, retail, hospitality, or administrative role preferred
- Prior experience with Marriott, Hilton, or IHG brand preferred but not required
- Proven ability to develop sales strategies
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and closing deals
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Products, and CRMs
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Collaborative team player
- Proactive, self-motivated with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Job Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiations and closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and meeting planners
- Provide personalized service to exceed client expectations
- Address client concerns promptly and professionally
- Work to achieve and exceed revenue targets by selling meeting space and rooms
- Maximize profitability through effective pricing strategies
- Monitor industry trends and competition to identify new opportunities
- Develop marketing strategies to increase event bookings
- Coordinate event execution with operations team
