Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel or hospitality sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Willingness to travel for sales calls and trade shows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Exceeding guest expectations by providing exceptional service

- Increasing revenues by soliciting new group and transient business
- Participating in industry and civic organizations for networking
- Organizing and booking sleeping rooms and group business
- Maintaining knowledge of competitors and marketing strategies
- Communicating effectively with hotel departments to ensure group arrangements
- Promoting a professional positive image of the hotel
- Completing sales objectives and action plans as directed
- Providing follow-up to solicit repeat bookings
- Completing weekly and monthly sales reports
- Responding promptly to sales inquiries and correspondence
- Conducting weekly sales calls, appointments, site inspections, and networking
- Qualifying and growing existing accounts
- Confirming group bookings using approved guidelines
- Tracing accounts for follow-up
- Traveling as necessary for sales calls and trade shows
- Responding promptly to requests for reports and assignments
