Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- One to two years of sales experience preferably within hospitality, travel, or service industry
- Proficiency in Delphi.fdc and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to conduct outside sales calls and local travel
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Basic financial and budgeting knowledge
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Duties
- Analyze market trends, demand drivers, and the competitive landscape to position the hotel effectively and secure business that meets or exceeds revenue and profit goals
- Proactively solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business through multiple channels including outside sales calls, telemarketing, networking events, social media, trade shows, and industry organizations
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key corporate, group, and travel industry accounts to grow market share and account production
- Actively participate in revenue management meetings, sales strategy sessions, and business review discussions to align sales efforts with pricing and yield strategies
- Capture and clearly communicate client needs, expectations, and event specifications to internal departments to ensure seamless execution and guest satisfaction
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries, concerns, and challenges, ensuring a high level of service and repeat business
- Identify and anticipate changes in market conditions, local events, and economic factors that may create new business opportunities
- Develop, execute, and track comprehensive sales action plans to achieve individual and hotel revenue goals
- Meet or exceed assigned sales goals, including room night production, catering and event revenue, and overall revenue targets
