Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Proven and verifiable hotel sales executive experience
  • Ability to manage goals and action plans to meet/exceed revenue targets
  • Ability to produce weekly and monthly reports
  • Ability to travel to attend workshops, trade shows conventions, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven sales experience with full-service hotels
  • Catering sales experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
  • Proven and verifiable hotel sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of product and services
  • Proven ability to position hotel room sales against competitors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster effective relationships with staff, management, and clients
  • Proven sales experience with full-service hotels, IHG experience a huge plus
  • Catering sales experience preferred
  • Ability to produce weekly and monthly reports and assist DOS with sales forecasts
  • Ability to travel to attend workshops, trade shows conventions, etc.

Job Duties

  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Prospect, qualify, penetrate, and manage business opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base
  • Analyze market segments and develop sales strategies to build room revenue business
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Report on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
