Job Requirements
- Four years or more of progressive hotel sales experience preferably with Hyatt
- hospitality or tourism degree preferred
- previous hotel pre-opening experience preferred
- familiarity with Hyatt sales operating systems preferred
- ability to flex schedule
- comply at all times with Hyatt standards and regulations
- history of hospitality score if available
- demonstrated ability to interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- relevant sales and event services experience
- flexible to work some nights and weekends when necessary
- results-driven, energetic, and focused
- caring leader that builds trust and engagement
- creative and strategic in developing marketing and advertising campaigns
- innovative thinker
- service-oriented style with professional presentation skills
- must possess high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, proven track record in high-volume concepts, effective communication, and exceptional customer service abilities
- clear, concise written and verbal communication skills in English
- proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- comfortable with sales and revenue programs/systems and third-party hotel programs
- excellent organizational and time management skills

Job Duties
- Oversee sales, marketing, and event operations
- manage budget, P&L, and revenue forecasting
- develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
- sell and service banquet food and beverage events
- conduct menu planning and agenda setting
- host hotel tours and maintain client relationships
- lead recruitment, training, and coaching of sales and event staff
- review contracts and facilitate communication with hotel staff
- manage sales operating systems and customer accounts
- participate and lead meetings with ownership and staff
