Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training
- Proven experience in sales preferably in hotel sales office environment
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel as required
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Familiarity with sales and marketing tools and software
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing or equivalent training in business or sales management
- Fluency in English with strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with yield management and forecasting
- Excellent knowledge of company products and selling skills
- Strong time management, communication, decision making, human relations, presentation and organization skills
- Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, prioritize and organize, think clearly and calmly resolve problems, follow directions thoroughly, understand guest service needs, work cohesively with team, work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and provide departmental training
- Fluency in a second language desirable
- Experience with MS PowerPoint, SalesForce, Daylight, and Sales and Marketing Management software desirable
Job Duties
- Make sales efforts including on-site meetings
- Generate sales leads and assist in sales prospecting
- Attend networking events and secure marketing features
- Report market trends and sales activity
- Provide regular sales reports and trip feedback
- Train reservations consultants and sales and marketing staff
- Manage group business sales and act as liaison between clients and resort personnel
