Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or sales related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in hotel sales or business development
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Willingness to travel for sales calls and trade shows
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
- Reliable and proactive in follow-up and client engagement
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in hospitality or sales related field
- Proven track record in hotel sales or related business development role
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities
- Experience in managing group bookings and corporate accounts
- Proficiency in sales reporting and use of CRM software
Job Duties
- Exceeding guest expectations by providing services that are above and beyond for guest satisfaction and retention
- Demonstrating leadership through interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others while advocating sound financial and business decision making
- Modeling appropriate behaviors by serving as a role model to demonstrate proper conduct
- Making decisions and solving problems by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution
- Assisting in increasing revenues by soliciting new mid-week and week-end business, including food and beverage, banquet and meeting room sales
- Participating in industry and civic organizations for public relations and new business opportunities
- Proactively pursuing, organizing and booking sleeping rooms and group business for the hotel
