Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hospitality or hotel sales experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Willingness to attend customer functions
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours as needed

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients
  • Respond quickly and professionally to all communications
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning
  • Maintain existing accounts and develop new business for the hotel
  • Monitor and manage all details of pre-event, event, and post-event activities including room blocks, meeting space, contracts, and billing
  • Attend customer functions as needed
  • Work with partners to forecast group rooms and food and beverage revenues
  • Gain knowledge of hotel products, pricing, and event-related details
  • Attain sales activity goals through proactive calls, tours, and appointments
  • Use digital sales systems and understand sales strategies
  • Participate in internal meetings, reporting, planning, and training
  • Foster teamwork and embody an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Advocate for personal career development and training
  • Comply with company policies and management requests
