Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in hotel sales or hospitality industry preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and time management abilities
  • ability to manage multiple accounts and events simultaneously
  • proficiency with digital sales and hotel management systems
  • proactive and self-motivated work ethic
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • commitment to providing exceptional customer service
  • willingness to attend off-site customer functions
  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • knowledge of sales forecasting and revenue management preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients
  • respond quickly, timely, and professionally to all communications
  • demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and proactive planning with strong attention to detail
  • maintain existing assigned accounts and diligently develop new business for the hotel
  • monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details including room blocks, meeting space, concessions, group history, contracts, event orders, and billing
  • attend customer functions as needed
  • work with partners to forecast group rooms and F&B revenues and maximize hotel revenues
  • gain knowledge of hotel food and beverage products, pricing, and function space details
  • consistently achieve sales activity and revenue goals
  • utilize digital sales systems and implement sales strategies
  • participate in meetings, conference calls, reporting, planning, and training
  • foster teamwork and embody an entrepreneurial spirit
  • advocate for career development and training opportunities
  • comply with company policies and management requests
