Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years sales management experience within hotel industry
- General knowledge of contract laws
- Ability to interpret and implement strategies based on STR, TravelClick/Kalibri Labs, GDS audits, online booking tools
- Expert computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency with office equipment such as computers, printers, phones
Job Qualifications

- Ability to collaborate effectively with hotel employees and management
- Knowledge of hotel operations including business plans, budget forecasting, quality assurance, hospitality law, and long-range planning
Job Duties
- Achieves market share and revenue goals by working with the Director of Sales and Marketing on individual and team goals within assigned market segments
- Prepares proposals and contracts that maximize profit and satisfy client needs
- Ensures revenue goals are met by prospecting, closing, and facilitating catering business opportunities
- Responds to Requests For Proposals (RFPs) in alignment with brand standards
- Communicates client contracted requests to all departments
- Solicits potential guests and customers using various sales tools
- Uses outside sales calls, prospecting, hotel tours, and hosting to solicit new business
- Delivers and sells hotel features and benefits to meet client needs
- Contacts in-house customers to retain and grow business
- Reviews weekly goals and takes appropriate actions
- Pivots market and team roles as needed
- Collaborates to ensure maximum occupancy
- Ensures all materials comply with brand standards
- Potential travel to trade shows and events
- Develops and implements business strategies aligned with Radisson’s mission
- Manages Sales Coordinator duties and training
- Collaborates with General Manager on business strategies
- Provides exceptional guest satisfaction and hospitality
