Job Requirements

  • A current, valid state drivers license
  • Ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the company
  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • 3-6 months related experience and/or training
  • Strong client skills and experience understanding customer needs
  • Willingness to work nights and weekends on promotional activities
  • Ability to perform merchandising duties if required

Job Qualifications

  • One year certificate from college or technical school
  • Four year college degree preferred
  • 3-6 months related experience and/or training
  • Strong client skills and experience understanding customer needs
  • Ability to develop and execute individual sales plans
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of sales and merchandising techniques

Job Duties

  • Represent the voice of the customer
  • Perform functions to service the needs of existing customers within assigned territory
  • Educate the customer on the right products for them
  • Use informed selling to introduce new products and close gaps in existing distribution
  • Visit accounts frequently to provide service and maximize revenue potential
  • Establish individual sales plan that considers customer needs and geographies to create effective and efficient customer outreach
  • Set the overall selling plan for each customer
  • Work closely with customers to understand and support their business strategies, goals, and objectives
  • Follow-up with customer to ensure their orders are delivered accurately and promptly
  • Responsible for merchandising activities if no support representative partner is available
  • Develop sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers
  • May include working nights and weekends on promotional activities and other account activities
