Job Requirements

  • Reside in Memphis, Tennessee
  • ability to work full time
  • experience in sales and marketing, guest services or front desk roles preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 2 years experience in sales, marketing or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related field with no work experience required
  • Preferred 4-year college degree
  • experience in proactive lead generation within hospitality sales
  • knowledge of property-specific business segments and the hospitality industry

Job Duties

  • Work with Property Sales Leader in identifying top accounts, assist Property Sales Leader in identifying share shift targets, manage funnel and sales systems efficiently, coordinate internal mining efforts at assigned hotels, solicit new business from small business accounts and leads, utilize internal lead referral tools, conduct site inspections and customer sales activities, maintain up-to-date lead information in sales systems, qualify customer long-term potential and refer as needed, leverage all sales channels to optimize revenue, participate in community and networking events, support customer care and service standards, drive revenue from local non-deployed accounts, activate local tactics for deployed accounts, adjust workload prioritization, perform other duties as assigned
