Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, front desk or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
  • 2 years experience in sales and marketing or related area
  • Preferred experience in large group sales
  • Ability to work full time
  • Must not be located remotely
  • Eligible for bonus
  • Willingness to participate in site inspections and meetings
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve revenue goals

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in sales, marketing, guest services, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major with 2 years experience
  • Preferred experience in large group sales
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships
  • Proficient in forecasting and budget management

Job Duties

  • Acts as on-property liaison for group sales within peak room parameters
  • Contracts and closes group business
  • Conducts site inspections
  • Verifies timely and quality turnover of business for service delivery
  • Achieves group revenue goals by actively up-selling business opportunities
  • Develops group sales revenue and operation budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborates with management to create and implement group sales and marketing plans
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with customers and community partners
  • Monitors resolution of guest issues arising from sales process
  • Participates in service standards and quality assurance initiatives
