Job Requirements
- high school diploma or ged
- 2 years experience in sales and marketing, guest services, or front desk
- or 2-year degree in business administration, marketing, or hotel and restaurant management
- no work experience required with 2-year degree
- preferred 4-year college degree
- knowledge of hospitality industry and business segments
- experience in proactive lead generation
- effective communication skills
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- strong negotiation skills
- ability to work collaboratively with sales teams
- proficiency with sales and marketing software tools
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- work with property sales leader in identifying top accounts and coordinating efforts to drive demand
- assist property sales leader in identifying share shift targets
- ensure effective funnel management and collaborate with multi-hotel sales
- manage daily status change reports to help close hotel business
- solicit new business from small business accounts and internal referral leads
- conduct customer-facing sales activities and site inspections
- maintain up-to-date lead information and verify accurate reporting
- qualify and maintain customer business potential and refer to appropriate sales offices
- present hotel benefits based on customer needs
- utilize negotiation skills to uncover new business
- communicate market trends and opportunities
- leverage all available sales channels to optimize revenue
