Job Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education
  • Ability to provide and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand primary workplace language
  • Ability to sit for extended periods
  • Ability to travel occasionally
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Ability to maintain neat and clean appearance
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Compliance with company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience in administrative role preferred
  • Sales and Marketing experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office
  • Knowledge of Windows OS, PMS, PBX, Key system, and POS
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Leadership capability and customer relations skills
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated
  • Basic computational ability

Job Duties

  • Enthusiastically assist Director of Sales and Sales Managers in hotel sales activities
  • Assist Director of Sales & Marketing and team with administrative and clerical support
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Maintain filing system of department records
  • Arrange appointments and meetings for sales managers
  • Prepare meeting packets and Sales & Marketing materials
  • Keep inventory of office supplies and place orders
  • Provide client support including processing leads and addressing guest program issues
  • Follow up on outstanding responses with clients
  • Handle logistics for small group meetings
  • Generate reports and compile statistical information
  • Produce and submit purchase orders
  • Assist with group resumes, BEOs, and room blocks
  • Notify clients of key deadlines
  • Drive product quality and guest experience
  • Maintain positive interaction with guests and staff
  • Develop strong interdepartmental communication
  • Perform other duties as assigned
