Job Requirements
- Education to at least a four-year degree level preferred
- Minimum of three years sales and marketing experience, preferably related field
- Experience managing sales processes and customer relations
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with management and other departments
- Regular use of a computer
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds, bend, or reach
- Must be compassionate, responsible, and honest with a passion for working with seniors
Job Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Business, Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations or Communications preferred
- Three-plus years sales and marketing experience preferably in a related field
- Ability to develop and implement sales and marketing plans
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Experience in community outreach and event coordination
- Knowledge of CRM and sales tracking systems
Job Duties
- Achieves and maintains a high occupancy percentage
- Maintains the sales tracking system and informs General Manager and Director of Sales of trends
- Works closely with General Manager and Business Office Director to ensure accurate community census reporting via CRM/accounting system
- Manages the entire sales process including prospecting, responding to inquiries, generating tours, follow-up, and securing deposits
- Assists in transitioning move-in process to relevant department heads
- Develops and implements innovative sales and marketing plans
- Develops community outreach plans and builds relationships with referral sources to generate leads
- Works with Director of Marketing to provide feedback on media advertising and sponsorships
- Coordinates special events with the Activities Director and Executive Chef to benefit residents and attract prospects
- Conducts competitive shops regularly and communicates findings with leadership
- Makes promotional recommendations based on competitive analyses
- Positions Merrill Gardens in alignment with corporate vision and mission
- Tracks and maintains community marketing budget
- Acts as General Manager when assigned
