Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's or associate degree preferred
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • progressive hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry experience preferred
  • positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to influence others, negotiate, provide friendly service and professional selling skills
  • ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • attention to detail, meet deadlines, and strong organization and presentation skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Meeting and exceeding group booking goals
  • increase average daily rate and occupancy growth
  • grow market share on annual basis
  • maximize revenue and control expenses to meet profitability objectives
  • oversee sales and events department operations including follow-up and administration
  • manage event execution to ensure seamless and friendly service for contracted customers
  • build and maintain client relationships and networking presence in local community and industry
  • attend meetings and functions as required often outside typical office hours
