Job Requirements

  • Stand or remain in a stationary position for long periods (3-4 hours)
  • operate computers and office machinery including 10-key and data entry
  • inspect and observe details at close and long range
  • frequently walk around property to give tours
  • communicate effectively in English orally and written
  • read and interpret business records, safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals
  • write routine reports, correspondence, and business letters
  • attend meetings and functions possibly outside typical office hours
  • travel may be required
  • employee must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred
  • previous supervisory experience preferred
  • progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industry including rooms and food and beverage departments preferred
  • must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • possess highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to influence others, negotiate, provide friendly service and possess professional selling skills
  • must be able to work independently and simultaneously manage multiple tasks
  • must have attention to detail, meet deadlines and demonstrate strong organization and presentation skills

  • Meet and exceed group booking goals
  • increase average daily rate and occupancy growth
  • grow market share on an annual basis
  • maximize revenue and control expenses
  • oversee sales and events department
  • maintain client relationships and networking
  • work one day a week front desk during down time
